ERASING DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND SHARING SYSTEM FOR PAPER CASSETTE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an erasing device enabling an image forming apparatus to easily use the paper that erasing processing has been performed. SOLUTION: The erasing device includes: an image erasing section for erasing a color-erasable image printed on paper with an erasable color material; a reusability determining section for determining whether or not paper that erasing processing has been performed by the image erasing section is reusable; a sorting conveyance section for conveying determined paper to a reusable conveyance destination and to a non-reusable conveyance destination in accordance with the determination result of the reusability determining section; a common paper cassette usable for the image forming apparatus, detachably attached to the reusable conveyance destination, and stacking and accommodating paper from the sorting conveyance section; a storage medium attached to the paper cassette; and a communicating section for storing information, on paper accommodated in the common paper cassette, into the storage medium.
