<p>Provided are an optical fiber amplifier which can efficiently amplify light with a high gain, and a fiber laser device using said optical fiber amplifier. Specifically, disclosed is an optical fiber amplifier (2) provided with: a first excitation light source (10) which outputs a first excitation light; a second excitation light source (20) which outputs a second excitation light having a different wavelength from the first excitation light; an amplifying optical fiber (30) which is added with an active element that is excited by means of the first excitation light and the second excitation light, and which allows the first excitation light outputted from the first excitation light source (10) to enter one end of the amplifying optical fiber (30) and the second excitation light outputted from the second excitation light source (20) to enter the other end of the amplifying optical fiber (30); a first light filter (15) which is joined to the first excitation light source (10) and one end of the amplifying optical fiber (30), transmits light having the same wavelength as the first excitation light, and reflects light having the same wavelength as the second excitation light; and a second light filter (25) which is joined to the second excitation light source (20) and the other end of the amplifying optical fiber (30), transmits light having the same wavelength as the second excitation light, and reflects light having the same wavelength as the first excitation light.</p> |
