PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain fluidization of sand and earth in a chamber of a shield machine. SOLUTION: The shield machine is provided with a screw 11 device which projects into the chamber 4 on a back side of a cutter head 2 and is rotatingly driven.
