PURPOSE:To improve the quality of a product and enhance the safety by rotationally driving a duct with a driving roller and subjecting this duct to boring and cutting by controlling a plasma cutter with a computer. CONSTITUTION:The end of the duct 2 is supported by a clamping roller 5 and the other end is supported by the driving roller 8. The duct 2 is then rotationally driven. A robot 4 having the cutter 3 is moved along a duct supporting device 7. The duct 2 is subjected to boring or cutting by controlling the driving of the driving roller 8 and the moving of the robot 4 with the computer 12. All including setting of a hole position, setting of a hole shape, etc., are controllable by the controller 12 and, therefore, the workability, safety, quality reproducibility and the mass productivity are made higher than those of an operator's manual work. |
