PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AC cord dropout preventing implement capable of surely fixing an AC cord to an AC inlet or an outlet, even when an electronic equipment body has surroundings of the inlet or the outlet covered with a decorative plate. SOLUTION: The AC cord dropout preventing implement 10 includes a mounting tool 30 and a fixing tool 50 for fixing a plug 40 of an AC cord. As the mounting tool 30 to be fitted in a gap of a peripheral part 20c of the inlet or the outlet due to a designing margin at an inlet opening 15 of the decorative plate 13 is fixed by pinching the body 12 and the decorative plate 13 with pinching pieces 35, the mounting tool 30 is stably mounted on (fixed to) the inlet or the outlet fitted to the body 12.
