PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling tool supported by a supporting tool at the middle of a wire rope, capable of being bent optionally and traveling on an extended wire rope, and a mooring device by utilizing the same. SOLUTION: This mooring device consists of the wire rope, a wire rope-supporting tool for supporting the same and a traveling tool for traveling on the wire rope, and the traveling tool consists of a pipe-formed frame consisting of a metal and a resin. The frame is characterized by cutting both end parts as slant by taking them as subjects to form a trapezoidal shape by a side surface view, installing a crest like notched part at the nearest part of each of the cross sections with each other, installing a protruded part at the frame inner surface of the crest like notched part, mounting a connecting metal tool at the outer surface of the opposite side of the notched part or at the outer surface shifted by 90°from the notched part, passing the wire rope through the inner surface of the frame and capable of traveling the wire rope-supporting tool.
