METHOD FOR SEPARATING CELL AND SEPARATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a technique for recognizing and separating only a specific cell in a cell specimen and to provide a new technique to separate the cell by targeting an intracellular marker substance which cannot be treated by FACS as an object.

SOLUTION: The needle-like material keeping a material selectively binding to a marker substance in a cell fixed to a needle-like material is inserted in each cell on a substrate to bind the intracellular marker substance to the needle-like material through the material selectively binding to the marker substance, and the needle-like material is pulled up. Only the cell containing the marker substance can be selected and separated in the process by setting adhesive force between the needle-like material bonded with the marker substance and the cell to be larger than the adhesive force between the cell and the substrate.
