PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing which visually recognizes the directionality of the bearing from outside easily irrespective of before or after an assembly operation and which does not lead to an increase in man hours or increase in cost. SOLUTION: The rolling bearing 1 includes an inner ring 2, an outer ring 3 and a plurality roller elements 4 intervening between raceway surfaces 2a, 3a of these inner and outer rings. As two or more roller bearings are lined up in an axial direction, they are used as a combination bearing. The finishing manners of chamfered parts 3bB, 3bF of a front side and a back side lengthwise on an outer circumferential surface of the outer ring 3 are different from each other.
