PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct performance check with high precision without deformation of a fitting hole so as to fix a rotary shaft to a rotor. SOLUTION: In an adjustable resistor where the value of resistance is varied depending on the rotation angles of a rotor 10, the rotor 10 has: a shaft fitting hole 20 into which the rotary shaft for rotating the rotor 10 is fit; and a fitting hole 22 for inspection, in which a rotary shaft for inspection is fitted, while the fitting hole 22 for inspection is characterized by being prepared in the position which the checking rotary shaft to be fitted in, does not interfere mechanically with the shaft fitting hole 20.
