PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform optimal measurement in response to the shape of the material and the direction of a material, miniaturize the device, and obtain exact thermal diffusivity regardless of the effect of the thickness of a sample. SOLUTION: In a periodic heat radiation temperature measuring method and thermophysical property measuring device, a heat laser beam irradiator for periodically radiating a laser beam to the sample at a frequency f and an infrared condenser for condensing infrared rays radiated from a certain point of the sample are arranged at facing positions on both sides of the sample. This heat laser beam irradiator includes an optical system for converting and controlling the irradiation shape on the sample surface to an optional shape, a moving unit for moving the infrared condenser in the XY direction, a fiber for infrared for guiding the infrared rays condensed by the infrared condenser to a radiation thermometer, and a controller for calculating the thermal diffusivity based on the frequency f and the phase difference θ between the period of the temperature variation of the radiation thermometer and the period of the heat laser beam.
