Glass-bezel assembly for a timepiece and assembly method

The method involves forming junction areas (4) by restricting direct contact surfaces between a glass (2) and a bezel (3) by removing material from periphery of the glass or/and the bezel, and/or by placing a shin (5) between the glass and the bezel. The glass is fixed on the bezel by supporting and clamping the glass with each junction area so as to transmit vibration communicated to the bezel, to the glass. The glass is maintained at a distance from the bezel in a peripheral space at an outer side of the junction areas to allow the vibrations of the bezel without hindrance. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a glass-bezel assembly for a timepiece (2) a timepiece comprising a middle.
