PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorine-based resin porous body in which the porosity is in the range of 60 to 90%, the pore diameter is controllable within the range of 1 to 500μm in reply to requirement, the pore shape is approximately spherical and each pore is communicating three dimensionally, and to provide a method for producing the fluorine-based resin porous body. SOLUTION: This method for producing the fluorine-based resin porous body comprises the steps of using a fluid made by mixing at least one kind of fluorine-based resin and a non-water soluble dispersant, a water soluble polymer meltable at the kneading temperature and a water soluble pore-forming material not melting at the kneading temperature or below, mixing and kneading these to form a molding, extracting and removing the water soluble pore-forming material and the water soluble polymer from the molding, removing the non- water soluble dispersant and sintering the fluorine-based resin to form the three dimensionally communicated pore structure. |
