Systems and methods are provided to facilitate a player re-entering a hand in a card game, even though they may have "folded" their hand of cards on a previous round in the hand. The player can re-enter the game with their hand of cards by buying-back-in, where an amount to buy-back-in can be of any commodity as required for gameplay such as a monetary amount, poker chip(s), etc. By enabling a buy-back-in feature a player can re-enter the game to continue betting, etc. Further, the sequence of game play can be altered compared with the conventional play, for example the 'big blind' places a bet prior to the 'small blind'. The various embodiments presented herein are applicable to gameplay in a physical environment, digital environment, or combination thereof. The number of times a player can buy-back-in can be limited or unlimited with regard to a hand or a game. |
