PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner which prevents influence on air flowing in a suction pipe, by highly accurately restricting suction air. SOLUTION: The air cleaner 36 has an suction air amount restriction mechanism 70 restricting a suction air amount of a cleaner chamber 65 in an air cleaner case 54, corresponding to change in suction air amount of an engine. The suction air amount restriction mechanism 70 includes: an intake pipe 64, a restriction member 71, a rod 73, a diaphragm accumulator 74, and a coiled spring 75. Since the suction air is highly accurately restricted in an upstream part of a single intake pipe communicating with the cleaner chamber without splitting an inlet of suction air, the influence on the air flowing in the intake pipe is prevented.
