PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timepiece device in which a means for generating a time signal is rationally provided as an option. SOLUTION: In the timepiece device configured to visually exposing a mechanical structure of a drive mechanism 200, the drive mechanism includes prescribed components arranged on first and second main plates 410, 420; and a minute wheel 230 and a hand pinion 240, meshed with the minute wheel 230 provided between a dial 300 and the first main plate. The hand pinion includes a rotary shaft part 241, penetrating through the first and second main plates; a knob member 242, provided with an eccentric cam 243, is mounted at an end part of the rotary shaft part protruding to the back part of the second main plate; a bell hammer 520 includes a bar body 522 supporting a hitting part 521; a pivot part 523 supporting the base end part of the bar body, in a manner allowing normal and reverse rotation; a lever part 524 fixed to the base end part of the bar body; and a biasing means 525. The eccentric cam operates the lever part so as to swing the bell hammer with the rotation of the hand pinion to thereby have sound-emitting body toll. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
