PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal groove of which cross-sectional shape becomes the same regardless of whether a surface is plane or curved when forming a seal groove in a member structured with curved surfaces and planes connected smoothly, for example, and to provide a seal member attached to the seal groove. SOLUTION: The periphery of the inlet port 1A of the seal groove 1, into which the seal member 2 is fitted, is narrowed like an invertedΩshape and an inner part 1B is structured to become a circular cross-sectional shape larger than the narrowed part of the periphery of the inlet port 1A. The seal member 2 fitted into the seal groove 1 of such a cross-sectional shape is formed into a shape having a circular part 2B, which corresponds to the cross-sectional shape of the inner part 1B of the seal groove 1, and a projection part 2A, which projects from the circular part 2B.
