PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and the like in which, even for a broadcasting channel limited within a small-scaled range, like area-limited 1seg, selection can be guided for a user operating a terminal. SOLUTION: A first terminal starts a broadcast tuner unit for controlling the broadcast tuner unit and uses the broadcast tuner unit by a tuner application to scan broadcasting data receivable at a present location. The first terminal then transmits, to a channel selection information server, scan information containing the positioned current location and a channel number of scanned broadcasting data and/or a channel number of non-scanned broadcasting data. Oppositely, a second terminal receives, from the channel selection information server, channel selection information containing a channel number of receivable broadcasting data based on the location. On the basis of the channel selection information, the second terminal then explicitly indicates on a user interface the channel number of receivable broadcasting data based on the location.
