PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery case excellent in assembly nature and manufacturability without spoiling cooling performance and strength. SOLUTION: In the battery case 1 formed as a thin hollow body so as to store battery units and used by mutually electrically conducting the battery units in a mutually-laminated state, a support section 4 intervened between surfaces faced to each other so as to generate a gap 19 for circulating cooling fluid between the surfaces faced to each other in a laminating direction in the laminated state is formed on at least either of the surfaces faced to each other, and an opening for interconnecting the gap 19 with the outside is formed on at least either of the surfaces faced to each other.
