A method for processing a 2Nx2N block under intra-prediction includes: utilizing an intra- prediction unit for performing intra-prediction upon the 2Nx2N block by utilizing a plurality of prediction modes, and accordingly generating a plurality of intra-prediction results respectively corresponding to the prediction modes, wherein N is a positive integer greater than four, and a number of the prediction modes is greater than four; and determining a target intra-prediction result from the intra-prediction results.
