SOLUTION: The electrochemical machine includes a physical quantity measuring means for measuring another physical quantity in a correlation with the specified physical quantity if the fixed quantity control is performed so that the specified physical quantity is constant when the electrochemical machine feeds an electrode, and a monitoring device 110 for monitoring the state of the machining operation of the electrochemical machine. The monitoring device 110 includes a threshold determination unit 113 for determining whether or not physical quantity measured by the physical quantity measuring means or the cyclic change of the physical quantity exceeds the threshold, and an operational state diagnosis unit 114 for diagnosing the defective operation in the state of the machining operation of the electrochemical machine based on the result of determination whether or not the physical quantity or the cyclic change of the physical quantity exceeds the threshold.
