PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treated copper foil causing no fine particles to fall off from a roughened treatment layer thereof. SOLUTION: The treated copper foil 1 includes: an untreated copper foil 2; the roughened treatment layer 3 which is deposited on the surface of the untreated copper foil 2 and is made of the fine particles containing copper or copper and at least one selected from cobalt and nickel; and a fine particle falling-off prevention layer 4 which is deposited on the surface of the roughened treatment layer 3 and contains nickel or nickel and phosphorus, wherein the surface color of the treated copper foil presents L* in the L*a*b* color system, of 20 to 40 and the number of measures stripped down from the treated copper foil when pressurizing a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape which has a pressure-sensitive adhesive force stipulated according to JISZ1522, of 3.88N/cm at the pressure of 192kpa for 30s and, thereafter, stretching and peeling off the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape in the 180°direction, is amounts to 30 or less.
