PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a voltage variable power supply circuit, capable of lowering a voltage supplied to a load in a short time, without causing an increase of calorific power, and capable of enhancing the efficiency of power. SOLUTION: When changing the voltage V<SB>L</SB>supplied to the load 7 by installing a load voltage monitor circuit 8 which monitors the voltage V<SB>L</SB>supplied to the load 7 from a voltage-variable power supply 2, a voltage control circuit 9 indicates a set voltage V<SB>E</SB>indicating a voltage after the change to the voltage-variable power supply 2, discharges electric charges accumulated in a capacitor 6 until the voltage V<SB>L</SB>monitored by the load voltage monitor circuit 8 reaches the set voltage V<SB>E</SB>, and regenerates the electric charges to the primary side of the voltage-variable power supply 2.
