PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine, generating Karman vortexes of a proper frequency in an intake port according to the operation condition of the internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: The control device is applied to the internal combustion engine 1 equipped with a fuel injection valve 9 for injecting fuel into the intake port 5 connected to a cylinder 2, and includes a columnar member 10 of an elliptical shape in cross section provided in the intake port 5 to generate Karman vortexes in a section between the fuel injection valve 9 in the intake port 5 and the cylinder 2, and an actuator 11 capable of rotatively driving the columnar member 10 around the axis.
