<p>A method and system for communication based on beam-forming are disclosed in this invention, said method including: a base station is set to include multiple sectors, wherein each sector corresponds to a set of beam-forming (BF) antennas; the main lobe of each set of the BF antennas is set to coincide with the corresponding sector; the base station communicates, through the set of BF antennas, with the terminals in the coverage range of each sector. The invention can maximize the data transmission rate and improve the utilization rate of the frequency spectrum furthest, therefore can improve the reliability of the link and the throughput of the system.</p> |
