An annular, axial securing element (1, 1') for axially securing a component (11) on a shaft (6) or in a hole with at least one conical flank (2), which securing element (1, 1') can be inserted into an annular groove (8) in the shaft (6) or the hole with at least one conical groove surface (9), wherein the securing element (1, 1') is divided transversely at least on a region (3) of its circumference, and can be spread or constricted radially in this region (3) by way of a screw arrangement (5) in the annular groove (8) and can be displaced axially as a result in the direction of the component (11) to be secured, and the use of one or two securing elements which are spaced apart axially for axially securing and/or positively positioning rings or hubs on shafts with large diameters above 1000 mm. |
