<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closing structure for container lid for engaging and connecting lid plates and holding the closed state of the lids, the structure being configured such that engaging/disengaging of an engaging projection and engaging hole is facilitated, the engaging projection being inserted and fitted into the engaging hole without bending the engaging projection, and their engaged and connected state being satisfactorily held. <P>SOLUTION: The container having the lid plates 4a and 4b connected to the open edges of the opposite sides of a container body includes engaging means formed from the engaging projection 5 projecting from the edge 41a of the one lid plate 4a, and an engaging hole 6 formed in the edge 41b of the other lid plate 4b. The engaging projection 5 is formed such that the base part has a narrow portion 52 the breadth of which is less than that of a front end side 51. The engaging projection is deformable in a curved shape in a widthwise direction. The engaging hole 5 is formed such that the engaging projection can be inserted into the hole up to the narrow portion 52 in the direction of the lid plate while the engaging projection 5 is deformed in the curved shape in its widthwise direction. The engaging hole 5 is shaped such that the front end side 51 of the engaging projection is returned into its original shape, and the front end side is thereby locked on both side edges of the engaging hole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
