<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a power control device for allowing both BS and MS base bands to handle transition between adjacent GMSK and 8PSK bursts without generating an undesired frequency component. <P>SOLUTION: A re-synchronization point is moved within a guard period so as to coincide with calculated reduction in RFPA power level so that the spurious frequency products are attenuated as much as possible and moved to be as central as possible within the guard period so that neither a previous burst 41 nor a next burst 43 is affected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
