<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting element array capable of irradiating for a wide range and a printing apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A light irradiating head 10 includes: a plurality of supporting substrates 30 arranged along first directions D1 and D2; and a plurality of light emitting elements arranged along the first directions D1 and D2 and second directions D3 and D4 intersecting the first directions D1 and D2 on a plurality of the supporting substrates 30. The supporting substrates 30 are depressed from the upper face, and have a plurality of first hollow parts 30a for storing one light emitting element, and a plurality of second hollow parts 30b depressed from the upper face and the side face. The second hollow part 30b composes a synthetic hollow part 30c for storing one light emitting element by forming a pair with the second hollow part 30b of adjoining other supporting substrate 30 in the first directions D1 and D2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
