<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer, a commodity sales system and a method, which improve in real time a buying motivation for commodities in a shop. <P>SOLUTION: A first and second commodities are displayed in a shop. The commodity sales system 100 includes a displaying apparatus 150, a selection apparatus 160, and a printer 130. The displaying apparatus 150 displays, based on a relevant standard information 114 related to the first commodity, the relevant standard information 114, and a list of pieces of information on the second commodity; and the information on the second commodity displayed on the displaying apparatus 150 by the selection apparatus 160 is selected.
