<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of inhibiting an image correction function from being performed in an improper period because an estimated amount of mismatch of an image forming position or image forming density is significantly different from an actual amount of mismatch thereof, and to provide a program for measuring an amount of mismatch. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 includes: acquisition sections 47 and 48 configured to acquire a variation in factor that causes the mismatch of an object to be corrected; and a control section 40 configured to estimate an amount of mismatch of the object to be corrected based on the variation acquired by the acquisition sections and to instruct the correction section 40 to measure the amount of mismatch on condition that the estimated amount of mismatch is equal to or larger than a reference value. The control section performs changing processing to change at least one of calculation elements used for estimating the amount of mismatch to be estimated and the reference value based on the actually-measured amount of mismatch measured by the correction section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
