<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that in a reflective liquid crystal display device, a space where a pixel electrode is not provided between adjacent pixels causes deterioration in proportion of a display region in a pixel, that is deterioration in an aperture ratio, and as a result, the contrast and luminance of display images are impaired, and to provide a liquid crystal display device which displays an image with high contrast and high luminance. <P>SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device, the end portion of a pixel electrode is provided to overlap the end portion of an adjacent pixel electrode with an insulating layer interposed therebetween, so that a space between adjacent pixels is narrowed, and thus, the proportion of a display region in a pixel is increased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
