<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity in production processes without increasing the speed of a folding machine used for manufacturing printed products, particularly, signatures, booklets, newspapers and books. <P>SOLUTION: This production system 999 for planar printed products includes a printer 200, an intermediate processing and delivering station 201 arranged downstream of the printer 200 in a view from the carrying direction, and at least one of folding stations 102, 104 arranged downstream. The printed products are carried through the production system in a non-interruptive material flow. Between the intermediate processing and delivering station 201 and at least one of the folding stations 102, 104, at least one sheet guide device 1 equipped with a switchable sheet switching member is arranged for delivering the printed products to a plurality of carrying tracks. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
