An energy-storage capacitor type cigarette lighter is mainly composed of an energy-storage capacitor (13), a generator (15), a generator operating crank (6), a switch (12), a cigarette lighting hole cover (3) and a heater (2). The electric energy generated by the generator (15) charges the energy-storage capacitor (13) when the generator operating crank (6) is shaken by hand, and the energy-storage capacitor (13) discharges when the switch (12) is switched on. Heat generated by the heater (2) ignites a cigarette when the current passes through the heater (2).
