PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel residual quantity display device for a vehicle for easily intuitively grasping a little fuel residual quantity, even when adopting a microcomputer lighting system. SOLUTION: This fuel residual quantity display device 10 for the vehicle includes a fuel sender 52 (a fuel residual quantity measuring means) for measuring the fuel residual quantity in a fuel tank 51 mounted on the vehicle, and a microcomputer 41 (a lighting control means) for controlling lighting of a light emitting diode 31 (a fuel residual quantity warning lamp) when the measured fuel residual quantity is a predetermined first residual quantity value or less. The microcomputer 41 enhances luminance of the light emitting diode 31 in response to reduction in the measured fuel residual quantity from the first residual quantity value, and controls the lighting of the light emitting diode 31 so that the luminance of the light emitting diode 31 when becoming a second residual quantity value becomes higher than the luminance of the light emitting diode 31 when becoming the first residual quantity value.
