PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetometric sensor capable of stably detecting a non-magnetic field. SOLUTION: In the magnetometric sensor, a magnetoresistance effect element 11 is covered with a magnetic flux absorber 12 comprising a soft magnetic material, so that the magnetic flux absorber 12 absorbs magnetic flux in a magnetic field given to a circuit board 1 up to the saturated magnetic flux quantity, to thereby prevent the magnetic flux from being given to the magnetoresistance effect element 11. A state detector 2 detects a first state where the magnetic flux quantity in the magnetic field given to the circuit board 1 is below a threshold, and a second state where the magnetic flux quantity in the magnetic field is over the threshold, based on an output voltage Vout of the circuit board. In this case, the magnetic flux absorber has a fixed shape or size so that the saturated magnetic flux quantity agrees with the threshold. Consequently, the threshold can be set suitably so that a balance between the first state having a non-magnetic field and the second state where a magnetic field exists can be kept corresponding to an environmental condition to be applied to the magnetometric sensor, by adjusting the shape or the size of the magnetic flux absorber 12.
