Disclosed are: a sealing material sheet for a solar cell module, which enables the formation of a sealing material layer having excellent adhesion and a high cross-linking density in a steady manner, and also enables the production of a solar cell module capable of exhibiting high reliability when used for a long period; and a solar cell module produced using the sealing material sheet. Specifically disclosed are: a sealing material sheet for a solar cell module, which comprises EVA, an organic peroxide and a silane coupling agent and meets the following requirements: (1) 2.5 = (A×B)/C = 3.5; and (2) 3.0×10-3 = A×(D/E) = 1.0×10-2 (wherein A represents the theoretical amount of oxyradicals generated from one molecule of the organic peroxide; B represents the molar amount of the organic peroxide; C represents the molar amount of the silane coupling agent; D represents the content (part by mass) of the organic peroxide relative to 100 parts by mass of EVA; and E represents the molecular weight of the organic peroxide); and a solar cell module produced using the sealing material sheet.
