<p>An image capture device comprises a plurality of microlenses positioned in a two-dimensional shape in the vicinity of the focal plane of a photo-optic assembly; an image capture element wherein a plurality of element sets, further comprising a plurality of photoelectric converter elements that receive a light beam from a photographic subject via the microlenses and output an image signal, are positioned in a two-dimensional shape corresponding to the respective microlenses; a generator unit that extracts a plurality of region image signals from the image signals that are outputted from the plurality of photoelectric converter elements, corresponding to each of a plurality of different partial regions of the iris of the photo-optic assembly, and generates a plurality of image data corresponding to each partial region as a plurality of viewpoint image data wherein each viewpoint position differs; and a receiver unit that receives a viewpoint number selection operation that selects a viewpoint number. The generator unit extracts a number of region image signals equal to the selected viewpoint number, and generates the viewpoint image data.</p> |
