<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marine beacon light which can avoid increase in the number of die required for production of a dome type hood in a die injection molding method as well as complication of molding processes, and achieves safe navigating of ships by improving visibility of the beacon light. <P>SOLUTION: The marine beacon light 100 includes: the dome type hood 120 formed at least by a hood outer circumference wall 122 and a hood internal circumference wall 123 with their diameters gradually shrinking from a hood starting end side towards a hood top end side of the dome type hood 120; a cylindrical convex lens 121 with its outer circumference side curved surface 121a constituting a part of the hood outer circumference wall 122, and its inner circumference side curved surface 121b constituting a part of the hood inner circumference wall 123; and a hood outer circumference surface 122a of the hood outer circumference wall 122 extending from the outer circumference side lens curved surface 121a towards the hood starting end side, and the hood inner circumference surface 123a of the hood inner circumference wall 123 extending from the inner circumference side lens curved surface 121b towards the hood top end side, both of which are of a flat surface, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
