<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronization detecting apparatus or the like for determining whether decoders are synchronized or not, using a fixed threshold regardless of the value of a C/N. <P>SOLUTION: A synchronization detection apparatus 10 includes: an input timing controller 11 that outputs a reception signal (a) divided at timing t1, as a reception signal b1; an input timing controller 12 that outputs the reception signal (a) divided at timing t2, different from the timing t1, as a reception signal b2; a viterbi decoder 13 which decodes the reception signal b1 and outputs a metric d1 obtained from a result of decoding; a viterbi decoder 14 which decodes the reception signal b2 and outputs a metric d2 obtained from a result of decoding; and a determiner 15 which calculates a differential (e) between the metric d1 and the metric d2, and compares the differential (e) with a threshold th to determine whether the decoders are synchronized or not. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
