PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trigger type liquid ejector suppressing deformation of a shape caused by decompression without enclosing nitrogen gas. SOLUTION: The trigger type liquid ejector includes: a pump 8 sucking, pressurizing and pumping liquid in a container by drawing an operation lever 7; a body 2 having a feeding path 4 passing the liquid sucked, pressurized and pumped by the pump 8 and fixed and held to a mouth part C of the container via a base cap 1; and an ejection nozzle 6 disposed at a distal end of the body 2 and ejecting the liquid having passed through the feeding path 4 toward outside, and is further provided with an adapter 11 between the base cap 1 and mouth part C of the container. The adapter 11 includes an adapter body having at least one ventilation hole 12 connected to the inside and outside of the container and linked with the base cap 1 and mouth part C of the container, and a valve element 11c elastically displaceably adhering to all over the periphery of the inner wall face of the adapter body with one end held and fixed with the base cap 1 and mouth part C, and with the other end set free.
