PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer attached with a scanner which can print related information at a high speed even when the memory capacity of a storage for storing the related information is made small, and to provide a printing system and a printing method. SOLUTION: The printer includes a host computer 2 which stores related information related to products for every product; and a handy scanner 1 equipped with a reader writer 212 which reads a product code from an unspecified RFID tag 5 present in the vicinity, an acquisition module 801 which takes in the related information of a product shown by the product code read by the reader writer 212 from the host computer 2, a RAM 203 which stores the taken related information, a scanner 101 which reads a product code from a bar code 5a printed on a specified RFID tag 5 present in the vicinity, a read-out module 802 which reads out related information of a product shown by the product code read by the scanner 101 among the related information stored in the RAM 203, and a printing module 803 which prints the related information read by the read-out module 802.
