<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated circuit in which graphics may be updated synchronously with a picture display even when the amount of data to be written into a graphics plane is large. <P>SOLUTION: When a rectangular region in window definition information indicates a part of plane memory, a controller of an integrated circuit renders decoded graphics data stored in an object buffer inside the rectangular region and does not render them outside the rectangular region. A position and a size of the rectangular region are designated in the head of Epoch, the rectangular region is fixed by the Epoch, and the Epoch is a period of time from clearing the object buffer and the plane buffer to re-clearing them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
