PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passage time measuring system for training of athletic sprint race which can be easily carried and set by one person. SOLUTION: The passage time measuring system for training of athletic sprint race includes a detector and a controller. The detector is set on a line partitioning tracks for athletic sprint race, and setting a condenser lens and a pyroelectric sensor to detect two obliquely upper right and left directions, includes a means to measure and store times of runners running on right and left tracks of the line. The controller includes a start sound generating means for runners, a measurement start instructing means to the detector, and a time measurement data acquiring means and a time displaying means for a time from the detector.
