PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a letterpress printing device which prints a high definition pattern of an organic EL display panel etc. and shortens time for printing process. SOLUTION: This letterpress printing device includes a rotary plate cylinder 1 around which a letterpress printing plate 3 is wound as a printing plate and a base platen 5 on which a base to be printed is mounted. In addition, the device further includes an endless belt 9 which supplies ink 15 to the letterpress printing plate 3, having one contact point each with the rotary plate cylinder 1 around which the letterpress printing plate 3 is wound as a printing plate; the base platen 5 on which the base to be printed is mounted; and the letterpress printing plate 3, and also, having not less than one axis arranged at a place apart from the one contact point with the letterpress printing plate 3, as well as a slit coater 13 for coating the surface of the belt 9 in the ink 15. Besides, the device still further includes a mechanism 17 for drying the ink 15 on the endless belt 9, a mechanism 21 for recovering the ink 15 on the endless belt 9 and a mechanism 27 for cleaning the ink 15 on the endless belt 9.
