<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a thumbnail to be matched with a user's feeling in a document browsing system. <P>SOLUTION: A thumbnail improvement part 14 in a document management apparatus 1 detects a thumbnail selected in error when a browser browses a target page and a thumbnail corresponding to the target page based on the contents of operation performed for browsing documents in a document browsing terminal apparatus 2 and an operation interval of operations.
