<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peristaltic pump unit for a medical infusion apparatus capable of being designed so that the apparatus can be easily manufactured and repaired. <P>SOLUTION: The peristaltic pump unit includes: a peristaltic assembly; an anvil facing the peristaltic assembly; a support part for supporting a flexible elastic tube forming part of a liquid medicine feeding conduit between the peristaltic assembly and the anvil; and a driving mechanism for driving the peristaltic assembly to perform such motions as to pinch the flexible elastic tube at various positions along the flexible elastic tube relative to the anvil. The peristaltic assembly and the driving mechanism are incorporated within a housing of the peristaltic pump unit. The housing has a support bracket for supporting a mutually complementary portion of the flexible elastic tube extending through the peristaltic assembly. The support bracket is located at a distance from the peristaltic assembly and disposed in line with the peristaltic assembly. The support bracket is formed in a shape of a replaceable module in which a pressure sensor and a bubble detector are incorporated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
