<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable device which can be switched by a handy operation, between a movable state and a movement prevented state of a movable body with wheels. <P>SOLUTION: A movable device includes a movable body, at least one wheel provided to the movable body and having a tire which allows the movable body to move, an actuating part for stopping a rotation of the tire, an operating part provided to the movable body at a location apart from the wheel and for operating the actuating part, a wire coupling the operating part to the actuating part. The actuating part includes a brake member which is provided in the wheel so as to engage with and disengage from the tire and contacts the tire by the wire is pulled from the operating part side. The operating part includes a push button, a holding mechanism for selectively holding the push button at least between a pushed-in state and a released state, and a wire extracting mechanism for pulling the wire in the process of the push button reaching the pushed-in state and releasing the pulled state of the wire in the released state.
