PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CAD data sharing system that automatically converts CAD data and transfers them between different CAD devices, automatically reconstructs the CAD data in a server, and reduces the volume of the CAD data in the server, thereby improving efficiency of designing work. SOLUTION: A designer having a CAD device 20 registers CAD data with specification data necessary for components and the like to be produced on a computer P2, in the server S2. The CAD data are transmitted to a CAD device 10 to be converted and replaced on a computer P1 of the CAD device 10. A designer having the CAD device 10 edits the CAD data, which are transmitted to the server S2 of the CAD device 20 again to be converted and replaced on the computer P2 and registered in the server S2 again, automatically. If CAD data same as the that already registered in the server S2 is registered again, the CAD data are replaced with the CAD data in the server S2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
