PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastener allowing a string to be smoothly moved by reducing resistance at the first movement when the string is moved and hardly generates shaving slag, and having an elastic body easily replaced. SOLUTION: The elastic body 1 has an outer shape of a polygonal column. A through hole 1a through which the string 4 is passed is formed in the center of the elastic body, the inner diameter of the through hole 1a being smaller than the outer diameter of the string 4 to be used. A frame 2 is configured such that a pair of holes 3a and 3b each having an inner diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the through hole of the elastic body corresponding to the arrangement of the through hole are formed, and an opening 8 allowing the elastic body to pass therethrough is also formed. The elastic body is housed inside the frame, and the string is inserted into the hole while the axis of the pair of holes of the frame matches the axis of the through hole of the elastic body. Since there is no need of strongly calking the outer frame during assembly and a tapered part or a narrowed part for tightening the elastic body toward the center as the string is moved is not present on the frame, the elastic body is not excessively compressed by the outer frame.
