PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling method and a cooling facility of an electric control panel which can efficiently cool the electric control panel inside an electric chamber. SOLUTION: In the cooling method of the electric control panels arranged in parallel oppositely with an interval on a floor in the electric chamber 1 and including a cool air sucking surface arranged on an opposite surface side, a cool air discharge duct 10 is arranged to extend along an electric control panel array 7, above between cool air sucking surface sides of the opposite electric control panel arrays 7, and cool air is discharged from the cool air discharge port 11 arranged along a lower surface side of the cool air discharge duct 10. In addition, a partition section 13, formed of an insulating partition plate or an air curtain, blocks a cool air region 14 between front surface sides of the electric control panel array 7 and a warm air region 15, on a back surface side of the electric control panel array 7.
